Abstract

The paper should begin with an abstract up to 250 words. The text of the abstract should be in 10-point size,
Times New Roman and justified with single line spacing. The abstract should be composed in a single paragraph
style. The abstract should be followed by 3-5 keywords.

Abstrak

Abstrak bagian ini dalam format Bahasa Indonesia dengan isi dan format penulisan yang sama dengan abstrak
Bahasa inggris tetapi dicetak miring. This part is Indonesia format for paper’s abstract in 10-point size, Times
New Roman with single line spacing but italics format. It contains of the same substance as English abstract.

Kata Kunci: 3-5 kata dipisahkan oleh tanda koma (,).

1. Title and Authors Detail

These guidelines are only for the authors whose submits an article for reviewed, accepted and
published in Specta Journal. The paper must be original and unpublished work, not submitted for
publication elsewhere. Copyright issues are responsibility of the authors. Papers should be free of
typographical and grammatical errors – it is the author’s responsibility to check the quality of written
English; this is not a task of reviewers.

Paper title should be placed at the top of the first page in 12 point, Times New Roman in Title case,
and centered. Authors Detail: 11 point, Times New Roman, centered, Italics. This style is defined
under the style menu of this document as ‘Author’. Use the full name for the first author. If an author
is submitting more than one paper, please provide the same name on both papers.

2. Introduction

All Papers must be written in Bahasa Indonesia. Kindly use this document as the template for
your full paper. All of text setting and formatting in the guideline can be followed to finalize the
manuscript in every part. The suggested length of the paper is 8-15 pages (including figures, tables and
references) and should be formatted as following:

1. 21 cm x 29.7 cm paper size (A-4 Size)


2. Portrait orientation
3. Top margin: 2.5 cm or 0.98”
4. Bottom margin: 2.5 cm or 0.98”
5. Left and right margins: 2.5 cm or 0.98”
6. Header and Footer: 1 cm
7. Indents - paragraphs of section - none

8. Spacing between paragraphs: Single space

Introduction overviews the background of the problems raised, problem gaps, the issues associated
with the problem solved, related theory or previous research result conducted by other researchers
which is relevant to the discussion. In this part, discussion purposes should be stated clearly.

Please submit the full manuscript online for reviewed as email attachment. Submit the manuscript in
office document format (.doc) and a copyright statement to spectajournal@itk.ac.id. Authors may
need to make revisions to their papers after the review process. Authors are required to provide
complete author names and details in the final revised paper

3. Methods

Manuscript should contain of 1. Introduction, 2. Methods (comprise of data collection, analysis


method, procedure, and implementation) 3. Results and Discussion, and 4. Conclusion. Each
paragraph can consist of subparagraph which is written with Arabic numeral and slightly indented 0.5-
points from main paragraph as shown above.

3.1. Page Format


Papers should not be more than three levels of headings which is set under the condition:
1. Main Heading: (11point, Times New Roman and Title case, bold, left aligned) should be
numbered 1., 2., etc. Leave one blank line before and after the first headings.
2. Subsection titles: (11point, Times New Roman and Title case, bold, left aligned, italics) should
be numbered 1.1, 2.1, etc. Leave one blank line before and after the second headings.
3. Paragraphs should be justified. The first paragraph after a section or subsection titles should not
be indented.
4. Text of the paragraph 11 points, Times New Roman and justified with single lines spacing.
5. Bullets: 11 point, Times New Roman, left justified and indent the text 0.5 cm. Insert a single
space after the bullet list but not before.

3.2. Figures and Tables


Use the following format guidelines for Figures and Tables:
1. Figure, Table headings and captions: 11 point, Times New Roman, Upper Case title, centered
& bold. The heading should be under a Figure, and above for a Table. Leave single space above
and below each Table or Figure.
2. Table text: minimum 9 point, Times New Roman, Fit into one page.

Figure and table in the manuscript should be adjusted to the regular order. Please note that no figure
composed by Word format will be accepted. All figures must be in jpg, jpeg, and tiff formats, with
acceptable size and resolution.

3.2.1. Equations
Equations references should contain the equation number in parentheses, such as (1), (2), etc. Use
Microsoft Equation Editor or Math Type to draw the equations equipped with additional information
related to all symbols and notations.

3.2.2. References and citation


Place the references in a separate section at the end of the document as indicated in this format.
Reference text: 10 point, Times New Roman, full justified, no space between the references. Use the
examples below for references of journals, books, conference proceedings and website URLs,
respectively.

4. Result and discussion

Discussion of the research result and testing obtained is presented in the form of theoretical
description, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Experiment results should be displayed in the form
of graphs or tables. They should be written by following format for diagrams and pictures.

Reference citation is conducted by the last name of authors such as (Kasali R, 2015). The citation
should exist in references list and vice versa. References is ordered by citation emergence from
introduction to conclusion. References only contain list books, papers, proceedings which are cited in
this manuscript.

5. Conclusion

The conclusion should clearly indicate the results obtained, advantages and disadvantages, as well as
the possibility of further development. It may be paragraphs, but preferably in the form of points by
using a numbering or bullet.

Acknowledgments
Authors wishing to acknowledge assistance or encouragement from colleagues, special work by
technical staff or financial support from organizations should do so in an unnumbered
acknowledgments section immediately following the last numbered section of the paper.
