This elegant French romantic guitar by Manuel Adalid is not a copy of a particular

19th maker

but certainly looks to the Lacote school for its inspiration. In this lovely
guitar, Manuel uses a

french system of ladder bracing with a transverse bar--and while following the
typical dimensions and

scale of the period, gives us a more functional modern bridge while retaining the
aesthetic the old pin bridge.

Everything is right about the sound. It is what one would expect from a good
quality Lacote.
