Fine dining at new public art project in Queensbury Village

Neighbours in the Queensbury area of the City of North Vancouver have a new place to connect with nature and each other
following the unveiling of a large harvest table community art project Thursday.

"The Harvest" is located in Queensbury Village at the corner of East Seventh Street and Queensbury Avenue. The public art
project was the latest piece created through the city’s Studio in the City mentorship art program which connects local youth
with professional artists. The Harvest was created this summer by youth artists guided by mentors from North Van Arts.

City of North Vancouver Mayor Linda Buchanan and North Van Arts executive director Nancy Cottingham Powell were on hand
for the unveiling along with student artists, mentor artists, community members and representatives from the Queensbury
Village business community.
