Greetings of Joy and Peace!

I am writing this letter of application in order to be a part of your beloved institution as librarian. I am a
graduate of Bachelor of Library and Information Science from Bicol College as cum laude and I have also
successfully passed the Librarians’ Licensure Examination last September 2018. I am a registered licensed
librarian who already had a one and a half year valuable experience as school librarian of Genecom Institute of
Science & Technology, Inc. I am very enthusiastic to bring about improvements and strategic plans for the
further improvement of the library as a functional and pivotal area of the institution.

During my recent stint as school librarian of Genecom Institute of Science & Technology, Inc., I gained
experience working with library inventory systems, cataloging, library management and reference services as
well as also handling the librarian of that institution’s sister school, Libon Private High School, in Libon, Albay.
I strongly possess a strong understanding of management, IT equipment, and the everyday operations at the
library. I have also gained insight into a librarian’s duties and responsibilities as an one-man librarian.

I consistently believe in pursuing different challenges and exploring different, ingenious concepts to improve
library efficiency in the institution. My previous career as private school librarian had required a high standard
of customer, record-keeping and informational skills. I am very interested in applying similar contributions and
improvements to your library. I am looking forward to meeting you in person and be interviewed about my
enthusiasm and qualifications to serve you as librarian.
