The company Xcraft, founded by JD Claridge and Charles Manning who have backgrounds in aerospace

engineering is a company that specializes in the drone-making business with its flagship product being
the X PlusOne. What made their product unique is the performance and the ability of its users to obtain
a drone that can achieve high speeds and durable enough to create epic aerial footage with one of the
selling features being its autonomous flight path as well as their prototype smartphone drone which can
be integrated with a smaller price . What I learned in this video in relation to technopreneurship is the
ability of the pitcher to be aware to communicate in such a way in showing the potential of your
business model to be something greater. It allow the “sharks” to be interested in using your business to
be applied in the businesses that they currently have, it was also interesting to see that their products
are in the works to be IP protected and patented and a potential for it to be licensed in a number of
ways; thus can allow the “sharks” to trust your business and willingly accept the investment for the
company to improve.
