HTML documents are written in HTML editors.

Since HTML document is written in plain text, you can use

any text editor. However, there are specialized HTML editors that offer convenience and added
functionality which allows you to highlight syntax and also allows you to debug the code. You will learn
details of these added functions as you progress in this training program.
Examples of HTML Editors –  Notepad, Notepad++, Sublime text, Eclipse, Netbeans etc.
In this training program, we will use Netbeans as our HTML editor. In the next lesson, you will learn
more about why we are using Netbeans and how to install Netbeans in your system.
