Title:

Balancing
Balloons
I. Objective

 To prove that air has mass.

II.Materials

 Ruler
 Stick
 2 Balloons
 Tape
 Books
 Scissor
 Yarn

III. Procedure
1. Find the center of the ruler.
2. Tied thread at the center of the ruler.
3. Hang to check if the ruler is
balanced.
4. Make a stand and fix the weight
balance.
5. Fixed two equally inflated balloons at
the two ends of the ruler.
6. Make a small cut in one of the
balloons.

IV.Pictures
 When the balloons are equally
inflated.

 When one of the balloons deflated.

V.Observation

When the balloons are eually inflated it is

balanced. And balancing of the two
balloons is one of the proof that gas has
mass or air has mass. When we deflated one
of the balloons,it becomes unbalanced
which also becomes a proof that gas has
mass. The inflated balloon has air while the
deflated balloon have no air and it become
unbalanced so it really proves that air has
mass.
VI.Conclusion

Balancing of both balloons when we

inflated it equally shows that gas has mass.
Air or gas has mass because if gas has no
mass then the balloons will remain
balanced even if we deflated one of it.
