MILLAN, KYLE DAPHNE E.

NSTP - SECTION 62
ACTIVITY NO. 6

ANSWERS:

1) My score on the leadership style quiz was 24 which is the equivalent of a

Democratic participative Leadership. The quiz said that those who took the test
with score of 21-27 has these type of leadership style which I can agree. I can
clearly picture myself while reading the Interpretation which explains that I lean
toward democratic participative style of leadership. That I tend to set the
parameters for the work and have the final say on the decisions, but I actively
involve my team in the process. Which leads to building trust between me and to
my people, as they’ll likely feel engaged and valued. These often happens when
I’m being assigned to lead a group or a team. But sometimes there were also
downfall having this kind of leadership. As what have said in the interpretation
that it’s not great in a high pressure situation that requires a fast-turnaround, as
this will slow me and my group down. And it’s true that if I dislike disagreement
or conflict, I might struggle with how my people respond to consulations.

2)
INTEGRITY

COMPASSION EMPATHY

LEADER
COURAGE INSPIRING

FOCUS COMPETITIVE
= A leader must possess these qualities to ensure that his/her team is on the right
path. With these qualities they can make things happen and they can encourage and
inspire his/her own team members.

3) I think my leadership style, qualities, and traits will fit most in a response team
or emergency help during a disaster. As an inspiring health worker, I will apply
my leadership qualities in the things that makes me happy. I can lead this kind of
group because it is easier to apply my leadership skills to the things I love to do
the most.
