INITIAL TRAINING - RAILWAY PROTECTION FORCE

SOUTH CENTRAL RAILWAY

The initial training as constable recruits (Male) who have


provisionally selected and whose police verification reports have
been received will be held at RPF Training Centre, Moula-Ali,
Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh w.e.f 30.07.2012.

The candidates should report to the Principal, RPF training


Centre, Moula-Ali, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh at 10.00 hrs on
29.07.2012. Failed to report on due date may result their names
being deleted from the provisional selected list.

The initial training as constable recruits (Female) who have

been received will be held at RPF Training Centre, Nasik Road,
Central Railway, Maharashtra w.e.f 01.08.2012.

The candidates should report to the Principal, RPF training


Centre, Nasik Road, Central Railway (Maharashtra) at 10.00 hrs on
31.07.2012. Failed to report on due date may result their names
being deleted from the provisional selected list.

JOINING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Recruits are required to undergo initial training for a period of nine
months. On successful completion of initial training, they will be
appointed as Constable in RPF/RPSF. The date of appointment will
be the date from which they will be posted against working post.
2. The scale of pay of Constable is ` 5200-20200 + (Grade Pay
`2,000). In addition you will be eligible for usual allowances
admissible from time to time.
3. During initial training, only stipend will be paid as per rules.
4. The Constables are liable to be posted anywhere in India in
RPF/RPSF.
5. At the time of joining the initial training course, they have to
execute an agreement form under rule 53 of RPF Rules,
1987. The service agreement form is enclosed to fill the
necessary columns and affix ` 10/- non judicial special
adhesive stamp or Franklin by Sub-Registrar and submit the
same at the time of reporting at the respective RPF Training
Centers.
6. They will be on probation for a period of 2 years from the date of
appointment after completion of initial training, subject to the
provision that the appointing authority may extend this period in
special case as per extant rules.
7. The appointment will be temporary and likely to be made
permanent after successful completion of probation period subject
to availability of permanent vacancies.
8. The recruits will be eligible for free Medical facilities for self and
their family as per the existing rules as amended from time to
time and also eligible for free Railway Passes/Privilege ticket Orders
in accordance with rules in force from time to time on your
appointment to regular working post.
9. In all other matters not specifically referred to here, they will be
governed by the provisions of the Railway Protection Force
Act/Rules and other extant orders as amended/issued from time to
time.
10. Accommodation: All the trainees shall be required to stay in the
barracks during the training. Each trainee shall bring with him
winter clothing and bedding. They may also bring plate, mug,
bucket and such other personal items as may be needed. The
recruits should not bring any valuable articles and electronic
gadgets.
11. Use of Cell phones with in the campus is prohibited.
12. Uniform: Every trainee shall be issued with prescribed uniform
articles.
13. The Recruits on reporting at Training Centers, should remit the
mess advance of ` 5,000/- (Five thousand only) as caution deposit.
SCHEDULE-VI
FORM OF AGREEMENT
[See rule 53 (a)]

In consideration of the President of India having agreed to appoint


me as _____________________ in the Railway Protection Force/
Railway Protection Special Force, I_____________________________
son/daughter of ____________________hereby agree and undertake
to:
(i) Serve in the Railway Protection Force/Railway Protection Special
Force for a period of not less than three years with effect from the
date of my appointment in the Force;
(ii) carry out all duties and functions entrusted to me and all lawful
orders given to me by members of the Force superior me in rank;
(iii) refund all the cost of training imparted to me in the Force or a sum
equal to three months pay and allowance whichever less in the
event of tendering my resignation from the Force for any reason or
reasons whatsoever during the aforesaid period of three years; and
if after three years I desire to resign, I shall submit my request in
writing and will not withdraw from my duties until I am duly
relieved.
2. I understand and agree that my services can be terminated by:
(i) the Chief Security commissioner without giving me any notice
under sub-rule (2) of rule 67 or under the second proviso to sub-
rule (3) of rule 57:
(a) at any time during the period of my initial training; or
(b) on my failure to pass the final examination of initial training
course; and
(ii) the appointing authority under sub-rule (3) of rule 57 during the
period of my probation or any extension thereof on issue of notice
of one month’s or the tender of one months pay and allowances in
lieu of such notice.

Note:- The term ‘pay and allowances’, used in Clause (iii) of para I and
clause (ii) of para 2 mean the usual pay and allowances paid to me
immediately prior to the date of my resignation or termination from
service.
