ASSINGEMENT

Purpose of the study: The purpose of the study is to opt for the best suitable
intermediary for the marketing channels.

In this study it is mentioned that there are four basic tasks in thirty criteria in
three levels. from which they have concluded that the focus to attract customer is
to change marketing channels rather change in methods of production or
consumption. Marketing channel is the route from which the goods and services
are supplied from the supplier to the customer. therefore, it is upon the
businessman to choose the distribution channel which is best suited for the
enterprise and can retain the existing customers and also invite the new ones plus
which can satisfy customer’s needs through which the business will survive for
long.

Methodology used: In this study descriptive and exploratory research is used.

Conclusion of the study: The purpose of this research is to give a framework of


different channels of distribution which includes four parameters basic task,
payment method, market coverage and negotiation.

this also conclude that it is businessman to choose the distribution channel which
is best suited for the enterprise and can retain the existing customers and also
invite the new ones plus which can satisfy customer’s needs through which the
business will survive for long. and can also use the techniques TOPSIS and AHP for
conceptual distribution mentioned in the study.
