EASTER

1) Ash Wednesday.
2) People receive palm leaves.
3) They celebrate Jesus’ resurrection.
4) He brings treats in a special Easter basket for children.
5) They decorate boiled eggs.
6) There are chocolate bunnies and eggs, jellybeans, marshmallow ‘peeps’.
7) Families play the Easter Egg Roll. They enter a lottery for a free ticket. The children roll
eggs on spoons in a race.
8) Because rabbits (bunnies) and eggs are symbols of ‘new life’.
