The Lord's Prayer is the most precious of all the prayers that we, the Christians, have ever had. It begins
with the words "Our Father which act in Heaven" which should set our mind on / make our mind
concentrate on our Holy Father / Divine God. By saying words "Hallowed be thy name" we ask to bless
us with a sincere prayer. The words "Thy kingdom come" might be understood as a request to God to
bless our hearts and minds with peace and joy of spirit. By saying words "Give us this day our daily
bread" we ask our God Almighty to supply us with the necessities of lives which should not be excessive
though, but just enough to provide for ourselves and to help our brothers and sisters.

The argument on the time of when "The Song" had exactly been written was heated by the divergence
in the text and in the historical epoch of Igor's campaign and the descriptions of the main characters.
Smoothing over contradictions the researchers of "The Song" moved the date of writing of the epic
poem farther from 1185 - at first to the end of the 12th century and then to the beginning of the 13th
century and even farther.

The contradictions were smoothed over but the puzzlement grew as to why after so much time the
interest had been taken in some unknown duke's campaign / sally which apart from everything had
been unsuccessful. Nowadays thanks to Boyan they managed to find out the reasons of divergence and
the origin of the "The Song of Igor's campaign" (the Lay of Igor’s warfare) familiar to us is quite clear. It
must have been written when the echo of battles was still fading away in the flames of summer of 1185
in South Pereyaslavle, which is derived from the author's manner of addressing to the dukes. Who was
the author of "The Song" - the boyar, the duke or the feudal lord? But is it so important really? He was
the first who urged to set piece in Russian Land when he saw the flames of fire from the new intestine
war among dukes and - made such piece come true / somehow secured such piece.

At first it was not clear for the scholars when "The Song" had been written and thus there was much
argument about it. The point is that the original text had very little in common with the historical epoch
of Igor's campaign and with the descriptions of the main characters. / little to do with ...

So the scholars were forced to reconsider the days of creation of this epic poem. At first the poem was
believed to date from 1185, then from the beginning of the 13th century and even later. Still some
questions arose concerning the reason of writing that poem after so much time had passed. Who would
have been interested in some unknown's duke sally which had had no luck?

Now with the discovery of Boyan’s manuscripts the origin of "The Song of Igor's campaign" as we know
it is quite clear. It's evident that it was written in summer of 1185 most probably in South Pereyaslavle
where the battles were dying down, but the earth was still on fire. We still don't know the name of the
man who wrote "The Song", but it doesn't matter much. What really matters is that he was the first who
called to piece on Russian Land and probably because of his work such piece was established eventually.
