In South Korea in March 1991, five young students in grades 3-6 went into the woods

but never returned home.

The children knew this forest well - it was located next to the school.
Parents said that the guys often played there: in the autumn, they collected
chestnuts, in the spring, they caught frogs.
So they were called - “frog boys”.

The police, military, and local residents threw themselves into the search for
children,
the country was filled with leaflets with photos of the missing, an aid fund was
created,
the process was controlled by the president himself, but to no avail. The guys
disappeared without a trace.

“Frog boys” were found only after 11 years. In all likelihood, the children met a
killer who beat them to death.
One of the boys was shot dead. Who killed the children is still unknown, the
investigation has reached an impasse.
Different versions were considered: that the children were attacked by poachers, a
maniac, even a saboteur from North Korea
- but not one of them was confirmed.
