This essential study guide is intended for use by candidates preparing
for the Primary FRCA examination leading to the Diploma of Fellow of
the Royal College of Anaesthetists. It will also be useful to tutors and
others assisting candidates in their preparations.

The MCQs given are drawn from the College question bank and
illustrate the range and content of the questions. The SOE questions
used are actual examination material and are provided to help
candidates to understand what they will face. The SOE answers
provide a guide to the content of the answers – as such these sections
are an invaluable template for exam preparation and practice SOE.
