Children of Heaven is a 1997 Iranian film written and directed by Majid Majidi.

This
Persian language film tells the life of a child name Ali and Zahra. This film provides a life lesson
to the viewing audience. The sruggle of Ali and Zahra life started from the time ali was assigned
to vegetable by his mother, because of his mother sick. Ali also brought Zahra shoes that no
other sister after repaired. But when ali took the vegetables to take home, at the same time in the
vegetable place a garbage man accidentally brought Zahra shoes. Finish taking the vegetables,
how surprised ali who found Zahra shoes nothing in place. Ali searched where he put, because he
did not find. Ali went home with guilt to Zahra. It makes Ali and Zahra take turn using Ali shoes
for school. Until Zahra see a girl using her missing shoes. Zahra and Ali who want to ask for
shoes again not bear, because knowing the girl father is blind. The day keeps going until Ali
follow a running race, if the third winner gets a shoes. However Ali is disappointed when he
becomes the first champion, because he will not get the shoes for Zahra.
