A BRIEF HISTORY

• Origin of our company, Fisons, goes back as far as 1938


• Transition from a general wellbeing healthcare supplier to a
pharmaceutical supplier in 1968
• A journey began, establishing ourselves as a respected player
in the field of inhaled medicine Glasgow Edinburgh

• This journey continued through a series of acquisitions and


mergers 1995 – 2004 as part of ‘big pharma’ companies
• Our most recent transition in October 2018 brought about the

OUR INHALATION BUSINESS

Successful supplier of inhaled medicines, treating asthma and

• Released from the resource intensive administrative processes
necessary to manage and control within big pharma

immediate line manager

quickly building confidence and trust

RAPIDLY GROWING OUR INHALATION BUSINESS

We have been given the freedom to work with a sister company to develop a
strategy and a new brand: Recipharm Inhalation Solutions™
• Launched earlier this year at RDD

An effective Recipharm Business Development Team


• Providing 17 new leads vs approximately 30 leads in the previous 10 years in big pharma

• Growing our industry network


• Engaging our people in the fast paced, dynamic aspect of attracting new business

A new (standard Recipharm) role within our company of Commercial Manager


• Bringing the inhalation strategy to life
• Enhancing our reputation thereby attracting interest

For the first time, we have secured a new DPI opportunity that extends the
therapeutic reach of inhaled medicines beyond respiratory treatment
• This really is a huge opportunity for the use of inhaled medicines

• The past year has been an exciting time for the team at Holmes Chapel
• We have operated more independently, grown our network
• And yet support is always on hand

• We have been actively encouraged to be more entrepreneurial, taking


greater ownership for our future
• We have seen a surge of enquiries and leads from new and existing
customers
• We have already secured new business

• We have been able to provide genuine development opportunities for


our people
• Establishing a more motivated, skilled and responsive team ready for the
challenges of multi product growth

• The goal of providing a more secure future for our company is very
