Official Police Blotter of this Station found on Page Number 01-01 dated 1 January 2020, Volume I Series of 2020 and as recorded by PO1 Cardo Dalisay, as follows: Juana Cruz, 25 years old, single, native of Laoag City and presently residing at Brgy. 01, Laoag City appeared and reported to this office that At around 11:30PM of Saturday, January 01, 2020, I, Victim was passing by Rizal Street, Laoag City going to her house at Brgy. 01, Laoag City. While she was passing by the said street, she was holding a blue eco-bag on her left arm and a cellphone on the left arm, walking in a moderate pace towards Ablan Avenue, Laoag City. That upon reaching Rizal Street, before she cross Ablan Avenue, the accused riding a white van stopped right in front of her. The driver of the van got out and pointed a gun at her saying, “aglugan ka dita van wenno patayen ka”. That because she was afraid of death, she went inside the van. That she learned that he took me inside the van in order to have sex with him but she violently objected which made him furious to the point that the accused threatened again to kill her again by pointing the gun to her. That upon entering the van, the accused drove. The victim asked him where are they going but the accused refused to answer the question and he told her to keep quiet or else he will kill her, That upon reaching Sta. Maria Elementary School, he slowed down because there is an ongoing road project, she took the opportunity and opened the door of the van and jumped out. That because she knew that the police station is nearby, she ran very fast towards the police station to report the incident accused then chased her but he cannot take her because accused was currently chasing me with the van thus, the accused cannot go out. That because of such situation, the accused drove towards west. Accused was of a large built, brown-skinned and of average height wearing a white t- shirt and black short pants according to the victim. That the police officers then immediately conducted a hot-pursuit operation but unfortunately, he was not apprehended. The accused was afraid and crying when she arrived at the police station. The following day, the police officers that conducted the investigation, showed her pictures of persons and she positively identified one of them as the perpetrator and the one who took her because she remembered his face. That person appeared to be Juan de La Cruz, a resident of Brgy. 02, Laoag City as according to the police officers.
