● Feedback and Insights:

Currently, I have only received the feedbacks on my prototype from my instructor

Miss Diane. The questions she raised was quite helpful for me to update my
prototype and bring it up to the mark. As I have told this earlier also in my MODULE
5 ASSIGNMENT that my prototype is basically a startup plan (a venture) to open up
first-aid booths, primarily in the rural areas of the country where availability and
accessibility of first-aid is a big issue. So, in brief, my target audience primarily is
people in rural areas, towns, and slums (the underprivileged section of the society)
for whom availability and accessibility of first aid is a big problem.

ABOUT THE BOOTH-

 STAFF- These booths will be set up in villages, small towns and slums and will
be run by retired government doctors, medical practitioners, medical students(as
their part-time job or internship). Likewise, we are providing jobs for society as
well and especially for retired people. Apart from these, there will be 2 normal
helpers (male or female) and their job is to assist the doctors.
 TIMINGS- The booth will operate and work 24*7 a day and 365 days in a year.
There will be 3 working shifts for the staff members each of 8 hours-
8:00 am to 4:00 pm
4:00 pm to 12:00 am
12:00 am to 8:00 am
 FUNDINGS- As of now, I shall put my own capital to start this venture. Since it is
the beginning only and the plan is to open one booth at a time. I have decided to
open up my first booth in Kandoli and Bidholi (a small town in Uttarakhand). The
area is full of university students and local people. Slowly when the booth will get
recognized and people will want these services near to their respective areas
and towns, then more booths will be opened. The fund for running these booths
 shall come from NGO’s who want to collaborate with us, MLAs or MPs of that
locality, nearest hospitals, medical centers and universities.
 OPERATIONS- It is very much clear that the primary purpose of running these
booths is to provide first aid services to the people. The patient will be treated by
the doctors in the booth. They will get all types of medical services, from
common to severe ones. In the case of emergencies, the patient shall be taken
to the nearest hospital in the ambulance by the booth. Also, the patients and
villagers will be educated on the types of first aid required in different cases or
situations. They shall also be provided with a first aid kit, which they can keep
and use whenever there is a need and this kit will be free of cost.
 AIM/GOALS- The booth shall be running on certain but yet important goals.
They are called as the 3P’s in first aid i.e.,
 Preserve life – stop the person from dying.
 Prevent further injury and/or illness – stop the person from being injured/ill
even more. If possible, an injured person should not be taken to hospital
when the booth can’t treat the injury or illness
 Promote recovery – try to help the person heal their injuries.
