Contributing towards Green Environment

Our ETP plant has been designed to treat the effluent having BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand)
above 900 mg/liter which has to reduced to NEQ’S (National Environmental Quality Standards) equal
to 80 mg/liter and the COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) to about 150 mg/liter. The effluent after
pH adjustment with Sulphuric acid goes to cooling tower to reduce the temperature from 70 degree.C
to 36 to 37 degree.C. then it comes to equalization tank to homogenize the effluent.

Afterwards it goes to Aeration Tank where complete process of aeration is installed and Urea and DAP
(Di ammonium phosphate) is being used for the bacterial colony to activate the sludge reducing the
BOD and COD, after about 30 hours retention time in aeration tank the over flow goes to clarifier tank
where the sludge has been settled into the bottom of clarifier tank. The sludge we used to recycle 50%
to back to aeration tank and the remaining 50% goes to filter press to dewatering and to make the
cake for proper disposal purposes.
