5 years of Roadside Assistance.

This programme provides you with a wide range of comprehensive services, anytime and anywhere in Malaysia (excluding all islands
except Penang, Langkawi and Labuan). All you need to do is call the 24-hour toll free number to request the following services.

In the event that the vehicle is immobilised due to an accident or breakdown, you may contact our 24-hour Volkswagen Roadside
Assistance hotline*, for immediate assistance. Should it be deemed possible for Volkswagen Roadside Assistance and/or its
technicians to provide minor repairs, Volkswagen Roadside Assistance will arrange for such repairs on the roadside. In the event
it is not possible to repair the car on the site, Volkswagen Roadside Assistance shall arrange for the vehicle to be towed.

*Volkswagen Roadside Assistance is a service provided by Volkswagen Group Malaysia through its appointed providers.

24-hour emergency towing*.


If your vehicle breaks down and it is not possible to repair the vehicle on the spot, we will assist to tow the vehicle to the last service
centre you visited in Klang Valley, and the nearest service centre if you are outstation up to 40km. Additional distance will be
chargeable. If you decide to tow the vehicle to a service centre which is not operated by Volkswagen, you will bear the cost of
towing. Towing in a car park is included in the service. Toll charges will be borne by the customer. This service is tied to the vehicle
with unlimited drivers and number of breakdown cases throughout the year. No assistance shall be rendered to any other vehicle.

Minor roadside repairs*.


Within the Klang Valley, Volkswagen Roadside Assistance will provide a standard mobile customer service, 365 days a year.
Volkswagen Roadside Assistance shall organise and pay for labour cost for roadside repair up to a maximum labour period of 2 hours
per event. Volkswagen Roadside Assistance shall not be responsible for any cost incurred for spare parts required for minor roadside
repairs. Nationwide, Volkswagen Roadside Assistance will use its network of service providers to attend and attempt to repair the
car by the roadside. Repairs do not include jobs that require getting under or raising the car. The cost of replacement parts will
be borne by the customer and some services are limited to certain brands owing to limited availability of specialised technicians
/parts/tools. If minor roadside repairs are unavailable, Volkswagen Roadside Assistance will arrange for towing assistance.

*Not Applicable for Volkswagen cars purchased before 2010.

Hotel accommodation assistance*.


If a Volkswagen customer experiences a breakdown while the member's vehicle is 100km from their place of residence and if repairs
to the vehicle will take longer than 48 hours, Volkswagen Roadside Assistance will organise and pay for hotel accommodation cost
(room only) for the customer and up to 3 passengers of the vehicle up to RM300 per person per night for a maximum of 2 nights.
Members will be responsible for incidental charges such as room service, phone charges and etc.

This benefit is limited to up to 3 times a year and is subject to availability. The benefit is only applicable if the car is towed
to an authorised Volkswagen service centre. The driver may choose either the hotel accommodation OR the car rental benefit.
Both benefits cannot be utilised at the same time. Services must be pre-authorised by Volkswagen Roadside Assistance to be
eligible for reimbursement.

*Not Applicable for Volkswagen cars purchased before 2010 and after 1st January 2016.
Car rental assistance*.
In the event of a breakdown involving the vehicle and should you require a rental car, Volkswagen Roadside Assistance shall arrange
and pay or reimburse for car rentals up to maximum of 2 days with a limit of RM300 per day. This benefit is applicable if the member
is 100km from their residence and repairs will take more than 48 hours. Volkswagen members are obliged to satisfy the terms and
conditions set forth by the car rental company**.

This benefit is limited to up to 3 times a year and is subject to availability. The benefit is only applicable if the car is towed
to an authorised Volkswagen service centre. The driver may choose either the hotel accommodation OR the car rental benefit.
Both benefits cannot be utilised at the same time. Services must be pre-authorised by Volkswagen Roadside Assistance
to be eligible for reimbursement.

*Not Applicable for Volkswagen cars purchased before 2010 and after 1st January 2016.
**This will include items such as, but not limited to, a valid driving license and credit card. He/She will also be required to pay
a deposit for petrol and any extension beyond the 2 days coverage period, if any.

Taxi*.
In the event of a breakdown involving the vehicle and should you require a taxi, Volkswagen Roadside Assistance shall refer and
assist the member to arrange for one. A member is entitled for a maximum reimbursement of RM60 per event.

Original receipts must be kept to be entitled for reimbursement. Reimbursement is limited to up to 3 times a year. Benefits are only
applicable if the car is towed to a Volkswagen service centre. Services must be pre-authorised by Volkswagen Roadside Assistance
to be eligible for reimbursement.

*Not Applicable for Volkswagen cars purchased before 2010 and after 1st January 2016.

Vehicle repatriation*. (Available only in Singapore and Thailand)


Applicable if a Volkswagen customer's vehicle has been recovered by Volkswagen Roadside Assistance to a Volkswagen service
centre for repairs. Upon completion, Volkswagen Roadside Assistance will arrange to repatriate the vehicle to a Volkswagen service
centre near the customer’s residential address**.

*Not Applicable for Volkswagen cars purchased before 2010 and after 1st January 2016.
**All transportation costs shall be borne by the customer.

Passenger repatriation*. (Available only in Singapore and Thailand)


If the driver travelling in the party is unable to safely drive the vehicle due to injury or illness, Volkswagen Roadside Assistance
will arrange and pay for the costs of an alternative driver to return the customer's vehicle to the customer's address in Malaysia.
Volkswagen Roadside Assistance will arrange and pay for the costs of returning the other passengers to their homes in Malaysia.

Original receipts must be kept to be entitled for reimbursement. This service is limited to a maximum of 3 passengers only.

recommend that you save the numbers in your mobile phone. Should you need assistance from Volkswagen Roadside Assistance,

*The official appointed provider for this service shall be Mondial. Assistance shall be rendered by the Mondial assistance team.

• Proof of ownership (if requested)

Important Note
• Do not make your own arrangements. In order to qualify for the benefits provided by your Volkswagen Roadside Assistance service,
you must contact or seek assistance only from Volkswagen Roadside Assistance.
• Do not call the dealership from which you purchased your car. Costs incurred from arrangements not made by Volkswagen Roadside
Assistance will not be reimbursed.
• In the event that your vehicle requires to be towed, please ensure that you remove all your belongings from your vehicle prior
to towing. Volkswagen Roadside Assistance will not be responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.

Exceptions.
The benefits shall only be rendered to vehicles which have been registered with the programme. Volkswagen Roadside Assistance
shall not provide its services in respect of or under the following circumstances:

1. Services which are not organised or pre-approved directly by Volkswagen Roadside Assistance.

2. Cost of services which are claimable under Motor Insurance Policies (e.g. towing cost in the event of an accident).

3. Any costs of parts and cost of repairs at the workshop or service centres.

4. If the vehicle is or has been modified for participation in rally and racing or modified against government regulations.

5. Service provisions outside the territorial limits stated.

6. Failure of the insured/driver and/or passengers of the vehicle to take reasonable precautions or to follow warnings of any intended
strike, riot or civil commotion via the mass media.

7. Any illegal or unlawful act by the insured/driver and/or passengers of the vehicle for any unlawful or illegal purpose.

8. Any commercial vehicle.

9. When the car keys are not available or locked inside the vehicle.

10. When there is no mechanical part in the vehicle, such as no engine or transmission.

11. Towing of a vehicle for the purpose of disposing the vehicle.

12. Towing of a vehicle for the purpose of transferring the vehicle from one workshop to another.

13. No valid road tax disc displayed on the vehicle.


14. Towing a stolen vehicle which has been discovered, abandoned or due to vandalism.

15. Vehicle that has been dismantled fully or partly in a workshop.

16. Towing a vehicle that is a greater weight than for which it was designed as stated in manufacturer's specifications.

17. Towing a vehicle where the registration number does not match with the number registered with Volkswagen Roadside Assistance.

18. If the vehicle suffers a mechanical break down and is immobilised on an unpaved road surface or on a road that is not a gazetted
road of the Malaysian, Singapore and/or Thailand road system.

19. If the vehicle requires the use of special equipment during the recovery.

20. Any call for assistance made by the member on behalf of their relatives or friends whose vehicle is not registered with the
Volkswagen Roadside Assistance programme at the material time.

21. Loss or damage directly or indirectly resulting as a consequence of wars, invasion, act of God, act of foreign enemies, hostilities
whether declared or not, civil war, rebellion, insurrection, terrorism, military, usurped power, riot or commotion.

22. Any consequential loses arising directly or indirectly from immobilisation.

1. What is Volkswagen Roadside Assistance**?
This is a 24 hour, 365 days a year emergency roadside assistance service exclusive to owners of Volkswagen cars registered
in Peninsular Malaysia and enrolled in the programme. Volkswagen Roadside Assistance is manned by a team of experienced
multi-lingual staff who will provide assistance in the event your vehicle becomes immobilised.

**Terms and conditions apply. Not Applicable for Volkswagen cars purchased before 2009 and after 1st January 2016. The 5-year
manufacturer’s warranty and 5-year Volkswagen Roadside Assistance programmes are based on the 5-year period commencing
on the date of purchase.

2. My vehicle has broken down, what do I do next?


Telephone Volkswagen Roadside Assistance and provide the call centre staff with your name and exact location, vehicle registration
number, Volkswagen model, contact details, description of the problem, confirmation of your house address and proof of ownership
(if required) so that the call centre staff can efficiently coordinate assistance for you.

3. What is the geographical coverage for Volkswagen Roadside Assistance?


Volkswagen Roadside Assistance is available in Peninsular Malaysia (excluding islands, except Langkawi and Penang), and in East
Malaysia within 25km of Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, Lahad Datu, Tawau, Sibu, Bintulu, Miri, Kuching or on the island of Labuan.
The services are also available in Singapore and Thailand. Not applicable for Volkswagen cars purchased after 1st January 2016.

4. Do I have to pay for replacement parts?


Yes, replacement parts and any workshop labour costs would be your responsibility, unless covered under the manufacturer's
warranty. Terms and conditions apply.

5. How long do I have to wait before Volkswagen Roadside Assistance comes to my aid?
Volkswagen Roadside Assistance understands the frustration and inconvenience experienced by a vehicle owner in the event of
a breakdown. Our aim is to ensure that any inconvenience is kept to a minimum. Therefore, on receipt of your call, our fully trained
call centre staff will immediately arrange for the nearest and most appropriate service provider to assist you. The duration of wait
will depend on the availability of the assistance provider, your breakdown location, traffic and weather conditions. During the course
of the assistance, we will maintain contact with you and provide updates of the estimated time of arrival of the service provider.

6. Do I have to be with the vehicle to receive services arranged by Volkswagen Roadside Assistance?
Yes, you must be present at the breakdown location in order for assistance services to be rendered to your vehicle. In the event
of a tow, you are required to sign a release form before your vehicle can be towed to the nearest Volkswagen service centre.
Please ensure that you remove all your belongings from your vehicle prior to towing. Volkswagen Roadside Assistance is not
responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.
7. Can I request for my vehicle to be towed to a workshop of my choice?
Volkswagen Roadside Assistance will tow your vehicle from the accident or breakdown location to the nearest authorised
Volkswagen service centre. If you request to have your vehicle towed to a non-authorised service centre you will be responsible
for all costs associated with the towing, and you will not be eligible for any other benefit detailed in this policy.

8. Can I make my own arrangements for roadside assistance and obtain reimbursement from Volkswagen Roadside Assistance?
In order to maintain the highest level of service, all arrangement must be made by Volkswagen Roadside Assistance. Volkswagen
Roadside Assistance has an appointed network of service providers and facilities to provide the services as described in this policy.

9. Who should I be contacting for road traffic accident insurance claims?


You should contact an authorised Volkswagen Body & Paint service centre and vehicle insurer for vehicle accident insurance claims.

10. Do I call Volkswagen Roadside Assistance if I want to make an appointment with an authorised Volkswagen Service Centre?
Volkswagen Roadside Assistance is designed to provide emergency assistance. However, we will gladly provide you with the
contact details of the authorised Volkswagen service centre of your choice.

11. Do I call Volkswagen Roadside Assistance if my boot cannot close?


Yes, Volkswagen Roadside Assistance will arrange assistance for you since this situation could be a potential hazard if you attempt
to drive your vehicle.

12. My air-conditioning is not working. Can you please tow my vehicle to the dealer?
Due to the fact that this condition does not immobilise your vehicle, you would need to drive your vehicle to an authorised
Volkswagen service centre.

13. I am entitled to the car hire benefit. What will the replacement vehicle be?
Whenever possible, Volkswagen Roadside Assistance will arrange for a replacement car that is an intermediate/mid-sized car,
1600cc to 2000cc. However, this is subject to the availability of the car hire facility and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

14. Volkswagen Roadside Assistance has arranged a hire car for me but the repairs to my vehicle will take longer than 2 days.
Am I responsible for the additional rental days?
Volkswagen Roadside Assistance will provide a hire car for 2 days, after which time the cost of additional days will be your
responsibility.

15. What should I do if my vehicle is involved in a road traffic accident?


(i.) If anyone is injured, telephone the local emergency number (police, ambulance, fire brigade) for immediate assistance prior
to Volkswagen Roadside Assistance.

(ii.) If no one is injured, we recommend the following:


• If due to the nature of the accident, your vehicle or other vehicles involved in the accident are seriously obstructing traffic
or causing a potential hazard, you should contact the appropriate local authorities prior to contacting Volkswagen Roadside
Assistance. This is to ensure that the authorities are on the scene as soon as possible.

• If the accident takes place in an expressway, the above applies; however you should make use of the emergency SOS telephones
that are located on the expressways.
• If neither of the above points are applicable, telephone Volkswagen Roadside Assistance. We will arrange to tow your vehicle
to the nearest authorised Volkswagen Body & Paint service centre.

• Note the registration numbers of all the vehicles involved in the accident and if possible exchange contact details and insurance
information with all parties involved including any witness.

• If possible make a brief sketch or diagram of the accident scene detailing the location of your vehicle and other vehicles involved
in the accident, the date, the time, and weather conditions.

• Remove all personal belongings from your vehicle prior to towing.

• Contact your insurance company at the earliest possible opportunity to inform them of the incident and request information
on claim filing procedures.

• Confirm with the authorised Volkswagen Body & Paint service centre if an estimate of repair will need to be provided to your
insurance company.
