The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is closely monitoring developments
around an outbreak of respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) coronavirus first identified in
Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China. The first case in the United States was announced on
January 21, 2020. There are ongoing investigations to learn more.

We know that the coronavirus is in the capital region. At this point there are various agencies,
colleges, and large events that are being shut down due to the coronavirus epidemic. All
precautionary measures are in dire need to be taken seriously. A lot of agencies and colleges do
not have the manpower to do such a cleanup. We understand that the administration staff and
janitorial staff for regular upkeep cannot do such a task.
