Difference Between Persuasion and Argumentation

In this paragraph I am trying to differentiate persuasion and argumentation in my own

words. The purpose of persuasion is to get the reader agree with your opinion but the author

makes claims without evidence, whereas the purpose of argumentation is get the reader

recognize the author’s side of the argument is valid and the author always provides evidence

with claims, furthermore the tone of persuasion is always involves charged emotions and

aggression but on the other hand argumentation, there is a calmer tone of just trying to get the

reader to acknowledge the author’s side is worthy of consideration. In brief, argumentation

presents multiple sides but it is clear which is the author’s side, on the other hand persuasion

Only presents only one side that is the author’s side.
