a35.2
Amplifier

The a35.2 is a full- sounding integrated amplifier built to fit

neatly into the modern household. Geared primarily toward
the music lover with a two channel audio system, it includes
a Direct AV input (home theater bypass), for those that want
to use the amplifier section of the a35.2 to power the front
channel speakers in a home theater set-up.
Constructed using the finest parts and hand assembled, the
a35.2 is sure to impress. It’s the heart of a great sounding
system and is the perfect complement to our cd35.2 cd
player.

cd35.2
CD-player

The cd35.2 is the outstanding sequel to the highly acclaimed

cd25.2. In crafting the cd35.2, we opted to keep the solid
minimalist style chassis and instead focused our attention
on upgrading the key sound producing components; the cd
transport, DAC, master clock, and power supply.
The cd transport, the core of the cd35.2, is the ultra- precise,
Austrian built, Stream Unlimited Blue Tiger transport. This
scientific-grade transport mechanism used in conjunction with
a special designed low-jitter master clock and Burr-Brown
PCM 1732 24bit DAC produces a lively natural analog-
like sound. The high grade toroidal power transformer and
regulated power supplies insures its exceptionally consistent
performance.
The cd35.2 is the perfect complement to Music Hall‘s a35.2
integrated amplifier. Combined these two components offer a
remarkably live-sounding musical experience.

reproduction have been optimized while focusing on a clean,
uncluttered, circuit design. Geared primarily toward the music
lover with a two channel audio system, we have included a
Direct AV input (home theater bypass), for those that want to
use the amplifier section of the a70.2 to power the front
speakers in a home theater set-up.
Vinyl fans will rejoice over the exceptional moving-magnet
Phono preamp.
Constructed using the finest parts and hand assembled, the
a70.2 is the ideal component around which to build a
stunning audio system.

ph25.2
Headphone/preamp

Marrying a gorgeous sounding tube pre-amp with solid-

state amplification has been a long known technique for
achieving unequaled sound quality in hi-end component
audio. While kicking around ideas for our new head- phone
amp we thought, why not try this same technique in a single
component?
We built ph25.2 and were blown away by the increased
detail, clarity, and presence the design offered. The tube
hybrid headphone amp was born.
Hand assembled using the highest quality parts available
the music hall ph25.2 will have you singing along with your
favorite artists.

analog converter. It’s the ideal solution for converting digital
signals to analog output.
The beautifully finished extruded aluminum box wards off
the effects of stray magnetic fields and provides a safe
quiet environment for the sensitive electronics it houses thus
providing you with the best sound possible from your digital
sources.
Connect it to a computer, Sonos, Apple TV, Airport Express,
or any digital streaming device and you‘ll be amazed by the
improvement in sound.

dac25.3
Digital to analog converter

We significantly upgraded the award winning dac25.2 to the

dac25.3. The upgrade was to the USB input which now ac-
cepts 24bit/96kHz signals. The dac25.3 is natively compatible
with Windows 7/Vista/XP/2000 and Mac OS X.
By uniting a state of the art digital to analog converter with a
tube output we produce the clarity and precision of a 24bit
DAC with the warm rich open sound people love of tubes.
The dac25.3 has 4 digital inputs which can accept any coax
(s/pdif), optical, XLR (AES/EBU), or USB digita input from an
iPod transport, computer, media server, sonos, squeezebox,
CD/DVD in stereo transport, or music hall’s own cd35.2

History and Philosophy

Back in 1985 the Scotsman Roy Hall, living in New York founded the company Music Hall. As an experienced product
designer in the hifi industry, carrying a lot of passion for good music, Roy got inspired to design his own products with the
goal to create great hifi equipment to an affordable price. “... I only design products I would buy myself.“

To make each product valuable, unique but still affordable, Roy Hall integrates a number of smart designed parts from
premium industry suppliers and combines it with a lot of ideas which make his product become so special.

He only uses superior part and proven technology. “.. I am picking the cherries,“ is
what Roy Hall tends to say, asking about the secret of his success.
Roy Hall is trying to get the sound performance of each product as close as possible
to live music which gives the listener a maximum of joy and long lasting entertain-
ment.

The elegant design and high product quality is in Roy’s focus such as the simplicity
of the product function and operation.
