ABSTRAK

Efisiensi Pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair untuk Meminimalisir Penggunaan NPK terhadap
Tanaman Cabai Merah (Capsicum annum L.)

Cabai sebagai komoditi sayuran mempunyai nilai ekonomi yang cukup tinggi
dibandingkan jenis sayuran lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh
efisiensi pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC) untuk mengurangi penggunaan NPK
terhadap tanaman cabai merah besar. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2019 sampai
Agustus 2019 di Kebun Percobaan dan Laboratorium Fakultas Pertanian Universitas
Palangka Raya. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT)
dengan lima perlakuan POC, yaitu P0 [NPK 100% (3,5 gram/tanaman) (kontrol)], P1
[Pupuk NPK 75% (2,62 gram/tanaman) + POC 50 ml/tanaman], P2 [Pupuk NPK 75%
(2,62 gram/tanaman) + POC 100 ml/tanaman], P3 [Pupuk NPK 75% (2,62 gram/tanaman)
+ POC 150 ml/tanaman], dan P4 [Pupuk NPK (2,62 gram/tanaman) + POC 200
ml/tanaman].. Perlakuan Pupuk NPK 75% (2,62 gram/tanaman) + POC 150 ml/tanaman
memberikan nilai yang tinggi untuk diameter buah. Sedangkan perlakuan pupuk NPK
75% (2,62 gram/tanaman) + POC 200 ml/tanaman memberikan nilai yang tinggi untuk
umur berbunga, bobot perbuah, dan panjang buah.

Abstract
Liquid Organic Fertilizer to Minimize the Use of NPK to Red Chili Plants (Capsicum
annum L.),

Chili as a vegetable commodity has a high economic value compared to other types of
vegetables. This study aims to determine the effect of the efficiency of the provision of liquid
organic fertilizer (POC) to reduce the use of NPK against large red chili plants. The study
was conducted in May 2019 to August 2019 in the Experimental Garden and Laboratory of
the Faculty of Agriculture, Palangka Raya University. The study used a randomized complete
group design (RKLT) with five POC treatments, namely P0 [NPK 100% (3.5 gram / plant)
(control)], P1 [75% NPK fertilizer (2.62 grams / plant) + POC 50 ml / plant], P2 [75% NPK
fertilizer (2.62 gram / plant) + 100 ml POC / plant], P3 [75% NPK fertilizer (2.62 gram /
plant) + 150 ml POC / plant], and P4 [NPK fertilizer (2.62 gram / plant) + 200 ml POC /
plant] control treatment gave high results for plant height, stem diameter, age of harvest,
number of fruit crops, and fruit weight of crop. Treatment of 75% NPK Fertilizer (2.62
gram / plant) + 150 ml POC / plant gives a high value for fruit diameter. While the treatment
of 75% NPK fertilizer (2.62 gram / plant) + 200 ml POC / plant gives a high value for
flowering age, fruit weight, and fruit length.
