LAB REPORT

Aim : To know how and where rusting take place.

Hypothesis : rusting take place in water and air
Materials needed :
 Nails
 Test tubes
 Distilled water
 Water
 Oil
 Anhydrous calcium chloride
Procedure :
1. Prepare the 3 test tubes
2. Pour water in one of the test tube that has a nail in it
3. In one of the test tubes pour water and close it
4. in the other test tube that there’s a nail on it add distilled water and
oil and close it
5. In the other test tube that there’s a nail on it put Anhydrous calcium
chloride and close it
6. Leave it for 7 days
Conclusions
Rusting takes place in both air and water
