The Acts of the Apostles

Evangelization

The purpose of this Bible study is to spend a lot of time with volume 2
(that is, The Acts) of St. Luke’s inspired work. We will prayerfully and slowly
make our way through the story of the early Church, which is also an
account of the Church, for the truths that we find in Acts also apply to us
today! We will focus on how the early Christians evangelized and reflect on
how we can evangelize the people around us too.

The only required text for this study is the Bible.

Highly recommended is Fr. William S. Kurz’s commentary titled Acts of the

Apostles, which is part of the Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture
series.
