I highly recommend Hanna Johnson as a candidate for your school district. As a special
education teacher at Grant Middle School, I had the pleasure of working with Hanna for the past
7 months, right next door to my own classroom. From the start, she blended into our school
family flawlessly. She worked collaboratively within our 6th grade team, displayed the utmost
professionalism, and greeted both students and staff with a smile. Additionally, Hanna took an
active role in attending staff meetings, parent/teacher conferences, and IEP meetings.

Hanna joined our staff as a student teacher eager to apply her content knowledge to teach our
students and quickly started up a successful recycling program. During her time at Grant
Middle School, Hanna discovered the strengths and weaknesses of her students. In turn, she
built solid relationships with the students and delivered instruction to meet all learning needs.

I offer a unique perspective as both a colleague as well as a parent. My own 6th grade son had
the pleasure of having Hanna as his teacher during her time at Grant Middle School. As a
parent, I appreciated her excitement for teaching and consistent communication when/if
problems arose. Also, Hanna went out of her way to tell me positive stories of my son. I have
no doubt that future parents will appreciate this habit as well!
