There are legends that say a hairy beast lives on

walks  like a man. They say it has very long arms like an ape.
They say its face looks human. People who live near the
mountain call the beast a yeti (YEH tee). Some people have
seen big footprints that they think belong to a yeti.
Explorers have tried to find the beast, but
so far no one has found one.
