Sub: Use of E-Consortium for Projects, Dissertations and other Non-teaching Credit Courses.
Knowingly that Nalanda E-Consortium is in place and access to all popular Digital libraries are now
available it is recommended to use these recent literature in the B.Tech Projects / M.Tech Dissertations
and other academic assignments for improvement of quality.
It is recommended that Project / Dissertation reports should have the following Sections / Chapters
1. Literature Survey
2. State of Art Table comparison
The chapter of Literature survey should include all relevant work in the similar areas with citing
references explaining the background of the work and establishing the need of more work in the area.
The State of Art Table – this should be a comparative table where other existing methods in the similar
work is compared in terms of methodology and performance parameters with proper citations and
references and justifying the performance of the proposed work.
E-Consortium will be of help in the above two sections to find proper citations for reference.
The whole purpose of the E-Consortium is improvement in academics and extensive use of the digital
content access by E-Consortium should aim in significant quality improvement. The use of the latest
contents will make aware the students of the exact state of art of any area and will help them to formulate
problems and subsequently work in these problem.
We expect the faculty to sensitise and promote the use of the E-Consortium among students and take
benefits from the access.
A Questionnaire form will be soon forwarded to all the Directors in this regard about the access.
