Construction site are major source of pollution.

This sites are responsible for air, water and noise


pollution. Activities like this contribute to air pollution include: land clearing, operation of machine
that run by oil, demolition, burning and working with toxic materials. All construction sites generate
high levels of dust and this can carry large distances over long period of time. Construction dust is
classified as PM10- particulate matter less than 10 microns in diameter, inviable to naked eye.

NSU always have some ongoing construction. Everyone in NSU go through this construction site
every day. Research shows that PM-10 penetrate deeply into the lungs and cause a wide range of
health problems including respiratory illness, asthma, bronchitis and even cancer.
