Text Features Race 

1. Place the text feature cards face 

down in a pile. 
2. Roll the die and move your counter 
that many spaces. 
3. Pick up a text feature card and 
tell the group what kind of text 
feature it is. 
4. If you get it wrong or don’t 
know what the text feature is, you 
go back 2 spaces. 
5.The first player to the finish line 
wins.
