„They are my favourite timpani…”

I am delighted that today it is still possible, or should I
say once again possible, to build these timpani – from the
forging of the kettle to the mechanism they are all produced
by hand to the highest quality – but not just that, I am also
delighted that it is an ideal instrument for a large amount of
the musical repertoire! It is wonderful that it’s back!

Erwin Falk / Vienna Philharmonic

„This excellent instrument impresses with its beautiful
shape and quality of sound. I am extremely pleased
that these instruments are being produced again by
Wiener Pauken Werkstatt.”

Michael Vladar / Vienna Symphony

„The Schnellar timpani is by far the best instrument
for music of the Viennese Classic era. Colleagues and
conductors always come to me and say how amazed
they are by the warm, natural sound this instrument
makes.”

Josef Gumpinger / Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra

„The Flagship Schnellar timpani meet my exact
expectations. They have an enormous range of
sounds and an elegant design, and are also of a high
hand-made quality. For me they are ideal for classical-
romantic orchestral pieces.”

Vitus Pirchner / Vienna Imperial Orchestra

„The court orchestra model with the mushroom-
shaped kettle reflects the typical Viennese sound from
days gone by and thereby cover the repertoire of the
Imperial Orchestra perfectly.”

Andreas Steiner / Mozarteum Orchestra of Salzburg Brass Aluminium Bronze

“The Mozarteum Orchestra of Salzburg, founded in
1841, primarily plays its standard repertoire on timpani,
