MEMORANDUM OF MEETING WITH TREVI

 TREVI is working for ASTALDI on Ain-Defla section, part of the Algerian Motorway;
 Diameter of pile in Algeria is 1,20 m (about 95 % of cases);
 Depth socket of pile is one diameter in the substratum (generally marl in this section);
this depth was also used in others projects realized by TREVI in Algeria;
 Drillling is 5 m / hour, 20 m / 4 hours;
 Most pile length in Algeria is ranging from 20 to 25 m;
 According to TREVI, no load test and integrity test are performed in Algeria;
 The cost of static loading test is about 25 to 40 Euro./ tonne;
 Statnamic test is more expensive than dynamic test;
 Frequency of load tests is 2 % according to British and Italian standards;
 TREVI will provide to COJAAL document and references on Ain-Defla project and others
technical and construction considerations (frequency of test, Quality Program Assurance
(PAQ) of TREVI).
