by Majid Majidi. Final Project Strata 1 Faculty of Languages and Arts
Education Institute of Teacher Training and Education PGRI Semarang.

The purposes of this final project are (1) to find out the meaning of moral
value in a film, (2) find out the evidence of moral value in a film “Children of
Heaven” by Majid Majidi.. This final project is a qualitative analysis, which describes
data. The ways the writer got the data and tried to analyze are as follows library
research and browsing the websites or internet. The first result of this final project
found is the parts that is including moral value in film “Children of heaven” by Majid
Majidi, Ali is the mature kid that can understand and realize about what problems are
being faced and look for the solution, and his younger sister Zahra is a wise girl too.
They work and try to solve the problem together. The second result is the writer
found the evidence of what kind moral values that is appear in film “Children of
Heaven” by Majid Majidi, in this film moral value not only can be identified in
dialogue but also in expression too, the writer found good moral value and bad moral
value in it . In terms of the research findings and discussions, the writer presents The
Evidences that revealed of moral value in film “Children of Heaven” by Majid
Majidi, Definition of moral value, The evidences of moral value in film “Children of
Heaven” by Majid Majidi, and discussions. The writer would like to offer some
suggestions. The lecturers of literature and Department of English Education have to
support the students to watch the literary works especially educating film and focus
on the process of learning and appreciating literature. The lecturers of literature and
Department of English Education should motivate the students to create their own
style, especially the personal and social characterThe lecturers of literature and
Department of English Education should motivate the students to practice writing
through analyzing moral vale in a film by providing them the considered and selected
materials to be analyzed. the students should often think critically to find them, when
they explore “Children of Heaven”, they will know about the meaning of life,
especially moral value in our life. Besides, they should observe the action that is
proved by the dialogue, expression, attitude and so on. It is hoped then, that by
repeated watching and analysis of the film, they can get more understanding to apply
moral value in their life.
