Voice

People get nervous when they speak in public. Even if you think you are speaking loud enough, the
audience may not hear you clearly. Projecting your voice is a very important presentation skill because the
audience are more likely to listen and be engaged if you appear confident.
Let’s try this activity to see if you speak loud enough for everybody in the classroom.

Eye Contact
You can read from your notes briefly during your presentation, but not the whole time! It is important to
have your head up, looking at the audience. Make sure that you make eye contact with people in the
