A Day in Choloville

A long time ago (like the 90’s) in Choloville (basically LA) there was an innocent child

everyone called “Little Red”. It was that time of the week, where she was asked by her mom to

go to her grandmother’s house in the middle of a not so good part of town. She was sent with a

fresh Walmart bag full of groceries and lotto scratchers, as grandma loved them, because

grandma couldn’t leave her house easily in her old age. As Lil’ Red was leaving, she realized

that her friend “Lil Nae-Nae” lived on the way to Grandmas so she began thinking about

stopping by as she left but didn’t want to disappoint grandma because grandmas cooking was

fire.

So, began Lil’ Reds trip, down long highway roads and through alleyways. She grew

super bored. Her mind wandered to thoughts of hanging around at Lil Nae-Nae’s place and

watching Hulu, maybe playing some Smash Bros on the Switch. With her mind wandering, she

didn’t notice a skulking figure in a LA Lakers jersey. It was the Big Bad Creeper, who was

infamous in the area for holding up Johnny Two Vapes dice game the other week. Creeper saw

the bulging Walmart bag and his mind raced with what kind of good stuff was in it. So, he began

to follow her.

Lil Red arrived at grandmas in the early afternoon, bored outta her mind but happy to see

her grandma. “Oh child, what took ya so long?” Grandma asked? Lil’ Red replied: “Sorry g-

mama but it was pretty hot outside and I got a little bored” Grandma just rolled her eyes and

scoffed. She dug into the bag with a fury, instantly cataloging all the ingredients it held like she

was a machine. “Just enough for my famous Rice’n’Pork!” It was only rice, with some beans and

roasted spiced pork but it was the best in town and grandma knew it. She turned her attention to

the lotto scratchers at the bottom of the bag. “Hope you have some luck for me baby!” she

exclaimed as she tossed the ingredients clear across the room into a bowl and dug a penny that

all older women tend to have and began scratching furiously. When she finished, she about fell

out with shock, she had won $5000! “Oh, my lord!” Grandma gasped as she fanned herself.

“Dang grandma!” Lil’ Red exclaimed. But she wasn’t the only one. Outside Creeper heard as

well and began formulating a plan. “Go cash this for me, will ya, sweet thing?” grandma asked.

Lil’ Red nodded quickly and raced out with the winning lotto ticket. Creeper watched and

waited, knowing that some money was about to walk back, so he ran off quick to get his “tools”.

While on her way to the nearest store, Lil’ Red realized that she just had to tell Lil Nae-

Nae about her grandma’s winnings, so she decided to detour ever so quickly to tell her. What

started with jumping and dancing turned into a hangout session that took 2 hours. Just enough

time for Creeper to return to grandmas with his tape and knife, to tie poor grandma up in the

closet and wait for that loot to return. It was later in the evening when Lil’ Red returned with the

verified ticket. Grandmas sitting room was open and Grandma’s TV was on, on her telenovelas.

Grandma looked strange. Almost bulkier. “Grandma, you feeling alright?” asked Lil’ Red.

“Feeling just fine, ho- I mean, dear” replied Creeper in a high falsetto. Lil’ Red got suspicious

but before she could say anything further, Creeper shed the disguise and pounced! He tied Lil’

Red up too and began laughing as he greedily grasped the winning scratcher.

During this time, Officer Rodriguez was doing his rounds. He was a fair beat cop with an

extremely attractive wife and most people in the hood liked him. He knew Lil’ Reds grandma

and had a habit of checking on her. He had saw Lil’ Red pass by earlier with the Walmart bag

and knew grandma was about to cook but now 2 hours had passed and he saw Lil’ Red return.

So, when he saw Lil’ Red return, he decided to follow her back to both check in on them and

also to get a plate of that cooking. He entered the house a few minutes after Lil’ Red got caught

and saw creeper doing his dance to the beat of “Nuthin’ but a G Thang” in the middle of the

sitting room. “Freeze, you’re under arrest!” shouted Officer Rodríguez as he speared Creeper at

the middle, throwing him to the ground. They fought and some curse words and racial slurs were

shouted but Officer Rodriguez got the better of Creeper and slapped some cuffs on him.

“Where’s Lil’ Red and Grandma Red?” he shouted. Creeper just shouted something about not

talking to no cops.

Officer Rodriguez searched and found both ladies tied up in the closet, freeing them. “Oh

Lord, I was so scared” whimpered Grandma Red. Lil’ Red kinda shrugged it off but you could

tell she was a little shook. Lil’ Red walked up to Creeper and retrieved the scratcher. “You ain’t

gonna jack grandma’s winnings today!” she shouted and kicked Creeper once in the ribs. Officer

Rodriguez chuckled, told the ladies to stop by the precinct when they could and escorted Creeper

out. This event would cement Lil’ Red and her grandma as G’s, taking down big Creep and with

some rumor spreading by Lil Nae-Nae, they took Creeper down singlehandedly and jacked 5k

from him, so from that day forth, Lil’ Red learned to just get stuff done without goofing off and

she was never bothered on her Grandma trips ever again.
