drummer

 The teacher will now give the band a rhythm to perform the scale on.

 The teacher will also remind the students that establishing a time feel takes lots of

experience

 The students will now be asked to name the chords in an Eb blues utilizing the smart

board

o First with roman numerals, then with chord symbols

 The students will now arpeggiate the chords along with the drums

 The teacher will now introduce the concept of a turnaround

o Adding a V7 chord at the end to make it feel like it’s going back to I.

 The last chord will be changed to a V7 on the smartboard

 The students will now arpeggiate the progression with the turnaround

 The students will now be asked to improvise on the progression, each getting one chorus.
