Walk-in-Interview for recruitment of staff under the Project SMDP-C2SD

National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra requires (i) Temporary Faculty (ii) Lab
Engineer (iii) Research Associate on contract basis on a consolidated salary under the
project SMDP-C2SD of Department of Electronics & Information Technology, Ministry of
Communications & Information Technology, Govt. of India in the Institute. Interested
candidates may report for interview in the School of VLSI Design & Embedded System of the
Institute on 28.02.2020 at 10:30 a.m. along with application, all originals certificates and one
set of attested copies of certificates, a recent Passport size photograph and an original identity
proof for verification.

The qualification and other terms and conditions are as under:

1. Temporary Faculty:
Educational Qualification: M.Tech. in VLSI Design/Embedded System with
3 years research experience OR Ph.D. in relevant area.
Salary: Consolidated Salary of Rs.40,000/- per month in the first year (*).

2. Lab Engineer:
Educational Qualification: M.Tech. in VLSI Design/Embedded Systems Design
with minimum one year experience in Industry/Research Org/Institute and
familiarity with use of EDA tools, their use and installation etc.
Salary: Consolidated Salary of Rs.34,000/- per month in the first year (*).
3. Research Associate:
Educational Qualification: M.Tech. in VLSI Design/Embedded Systems Design
and familiarity with use of EDA tools.
Salary: Consolidated Salary of Rs.20,000/- per month in the first year (*).

* In subsequent years, if tenure is renewed (provided project duration is extended),

enhancement in salary will be as per MeitY guidelines.

General Conditions:
1. The Institute reserves the right not to fill the post.
2. The recruitment shall be made against contractual project post under the SMDP-
C2SD project for the duration of the project and will not continue any
circumstances beyond the duration of the aforementioned project. It has no relation
with the sanctioned posts of this Institute. The appointment shall be automatically
terminated on last date of the project.
3. The Competent Authority of the Institute reserves the right to terminate the
appointment with one-month notice period at any point of time without furnishing
any reasons thereof.
4. The applicants are required to visit the Institute website regularly as any
subsequent corrigendum/addendum etc. shall be published on the Institute website
only.
5. Any dispute will fall under the jurisdiction of Distt. Kurukshetra.
