Highlights
 Provide up to three bullet points with single line highlights of the work.
 Indentation of the bullet points need to be made like this.
 Brevity of the points is appreciated.

Introduction
The abstract should be divided into each of the Sections shown here.

Guidelines in this template are towards preparation of a “camera-ready” abstract. Authors are
expected to follow these guidelines strictly in the interest of a professional Book of Abstracts or
special volume of ISCRE 26 Conference.

The abstract should be single spaced, fully justified text without any indentation (should not be left,
right or centre aligned), as in this template. Times New Roman, Font Size 12 should be used in
normal text, no bold. In exceptional cases, authors may choose to highlight a part of their abstract text
(such as a few words or part of a sentence) in italics. The page chosen should be in the format of this
template with a Page Layout design of 2.54 cm margins from all four sides. Footnotes * may be added
at the bottom of the page if required, referencing them with special symbols as shown in the footnote
below this page. Authors’ are advised not to change the page formatting in any way.

Methodology
The text should highlight the intended talk/poster/paper’s substance including the research question,
background, purpose, methodology, a few key results which substantiates the claims made or subject
of the presentation, and a brief conclusion) in less than 500 words. Key results may be highlighted in
a maximum of two figures. With the guidelines provided in this template, the length of the document
be a maximum of 2 pages. Authors should strictly adhere to the limit of 2 pages.

Equations should be created preferably in Equation Editor of MS Word, which can be accessed
through Insert  Object  Equation Editor (drop down menu). Authors are discouraged from using
Insert  Equation option in MS Word owing to formatting issues that are common at the publishing
time, particularly with respect to subscripts and superscripts in equations.

Figure 1. Typical graphical plot to be included in the abstract. Please make

sure that the fonts in the figure are clearly visible. Use Bold if necessary.
Selected Results
Each figure should be pasted into the abstract as a picture and the aspect ratio chosen according to the
requirement of the picture (for a reasonably visible and clear display). Please make sure that the text
in the pasted picture is clearly visible and the font sizes while plotting the figures are chosen such that
they are clearly visible in the final figure. The titles of the figures should be placed below the figure,
centre positioned, and with Arial font size 10. The text itself should be fully justified in the manner
shown. After placing the figure and figure titles, the while arranged should be “Grouped” and centre
positioned under “Square Layout”, and option “Fix Position on Page”.

Key Conclusions
Suitable gaps should be provided in the text so that the figures can be pasted if required. This will
help in the abstract to be “camera ready”. It is expected that the figures will be placed close to the part
of the abstract that discusses the figure.

Literature Cited
1. Literature cited should be in accordance with the referencing style referred to as above. In the
text, the literature should be referenced numerically in order of appearance, such as 1, 2, 3, …
etc.

Additional Guidelines

Referencing should be done in the CEP reference style, as adopted by the AIChE Journal
(https://www.aiche.org/sites/default/files/docs/pages/CEP%20Reference%20Style.pdf). Works that
are specifically cited should be numbered in the order 1,2 in which they appear in the text3,4, and listed
at the end of the article, under the heading Literature Cited 5. If a reference is cited more than once,
always use the same number; do not list the same source multiple times with different numbers, and
do not use ibid or other Latin terms. Identify cited references by sequential number in the text,
italicize the number, and put it in parentheses. Do not cite references as footnotes and do not use
superscript numbers. If the citation is the subject or object of a sentence, refer to it as Ref. x, not (x); if
it starts the sentence or clause, spell out Reference x; do not italicize Ref. x or Reference x; avoid
referring to authors in the text by name, but it is acceptable to do this sparingly. Please follow the
norms given in the above URL.
