SUPPLEMENTS NOT A NECESSITY FOR BODY BUILDING!!!

-HEMANT KUMAR

Protein supplements are not a necessity for bodybuilding or muscle building rather they are a luxury and
the easy way out for many athletes. Supplement as the word suggest is a thing which is a replacement
or a substitute not compulsory. Supplements are taken when a person cannot take some raw sources of
protein or does not have enough time to cook, but the social media, advertising and the supplement
companies made it look like a necessity. Havoc is created around it that without supplements you
cannot make a good phisque.

Myths surrounding supplements claim that they are cheaper, but it is all crap. An average a whey
protein box costs RS.4500/- per kg which lasts around a month providing 26g protein per 100g i.e,Rs 5
per gram and in the cost of a Whey Protein Box a normal Indian can have 200g of protein. Whey can be
taken post workout just because it absorbs quickly. Other Supplements like pre-workout, BCAAs etc. are
not even close to necessity. Pre-workout just gives you a pump which is artificial energy and does not
last long and losses effectiveness very quickly. So, don’t waste money on supplements to know more
about fitness and lifestyle subscribe to my blog.

Lee Haney[8 time Mr.Olympia] did not use any sort of Protein Supplements, rather he ate chicken
sandwiches after the gym in restaurants after workout to recover from the strenuous physical activity
and also won Pinnacle of all bodybuilding competitions Mr Olympia multiple times. This means a very
good phisque can be achieved by eating clean and healthy.
