Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Includes but not limited to the following):
• Maintain the corrective/preventive action program (ISO) including 8D and RCCA programs
• In Charge of all RMA’s (Return Material authorizations program)
• Maintain the Calibration program for inspection equipment and machine calibration
• Maintain the Internal audit program working with internal auditors
• Help with supplier audits as needed.
• Maintain the document control program
• In charge of FAI program (First Article Inspection, documentation portion)
• Assist with all documentation and preparation for customer audits and ISO Audits.
• Prepare quality data and reports for management review as required.
• Responsible for the Safety and 5S programs
• Responsible for the training program
• Assist in miscellaneous Quality programs such as SPC, FMECA, Gage R&R etc. Support role for Quality Engine
• Work as a backup for other Quality Coordinators as required.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
• Previous experience within the Quality Department and/or have worked on a similar position
• Familiarity with quality programs such as calibration, document control, training, safety, 5S etc
• Previous experience related to RMA, Failure Analysis, Containment, SPC, CPk, Gage R&R,
• Copy Exact, FMEA or Root Cause Analysis is a big plus
• Detail Oriented, strong common sense, team player, open to suggestions
• Blue print reading skill and knowledge in manufacturing environment is a plus
• Heavy typing required. Accuracy and speed is a must.
• Highly refined communications skills required, must be a fast learner
• Highly organized, able to follow up and ensure closure of problems
• Able to perform duties in a precise and accurate manner under minimal supervision
• Strong Computer and analytical skill required
• Excellent use of Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Windows
