These products are articles with intended release of substances according to the REACH regulation (EC)
No 1907/2006. There is no obligation to issue and to provide a safety data sheet for these products. We
expressly point out that these safety information are voluntarily data sheets which are not subject to the
formal requirements of the REACH regulation. On customer request we communicate information for the
safe handling and use of our products.

Handling:
Provide adequate ventilation as well as local exhaustion at the workplace. Avoid skin contact

11. Toxicological information

During processing (e.g. cutting) paper dust may be generated. The dust concentration is below the recom-
mended exposure limits for general dust and not represented a hazard.
Based on manufacturer data of the main components the acute toxicity, the skin irritation, corrosive effect,
sensitisation, carcinogenity, mutagenicity and toxicity for reproduction were evaluated. When normal used,
the product does not have any harmful effects to our experience and the information provided to us.

Sodium nitrite (100%): LD50 oral rat 85-180 mg/kg (literature value)

There are no ecotoxicological data available. Due to the properties of the article, a hazard to the environ-
ment may not be expected.

13. Disposal considerations

Product recommendation:
AVV 15 01 01 (paper and cardboard packaging)
The European Waste Catalogue is structured according to origin. The final waste classification must be
assigned according to the specific industry and user. If contamination can result from the use of this article,
a new classification may be required.

The paper can be recycled. As the heating value is >11000kJ/kg, the material can be fed into an energetic
recycling process. If recycling is technically not possible or feasible, landfill or incinerate the material to-
gether with household waste in compliance with the official local regulations.
