Checklist for Understanding the implementation of NABH Standards in

Hospital Infection Control


The Standards related to Hospital Infection Control as mentioned in
“Accreditation Standards Guidebook for Hospitals—4th Edition” provided by
NABH.
There are total of 9 standards and 52 Objective Elements.
Objectives of the Questionnaire
 This objective of this questionnaire will be to understand in what nature
the standards of NABH regarding Hospital Infection Control are
followed.
 The response of the Participants will be combined with the observations
made by the Observant.
 The questionnaire will not be Auditory in nature rather will be Assisting
in implementing the NABH standards properly.
 The results of the research will be used to identify and fulfil the gaps, if
any, in following the standards in utmost details.
 The checklist will be either printed and filled out by individual or they
can be circulated on a google form. The results may be analysed
thereafter.

HIC.1. The organisation has a well-designed, comprehensive and coordinated Hospital


Infection Prevention and Control (HIC) programme aimed at reducing/eliminating risks
to patients, visitors and providers of care.
