Biblical Time Line - Church Age

BIBLICAL TIME LINE

(Emphasis on the Church Age)

The Church Age is the "intercalated period", inserted

into the Age of Israel, which ends at the beginning of
the Millennium, or 1000-year reign of our Lord Jesus
Christ on Earth

Approximately 50 days after our Lord's Crucifixion is

the "Day of Pentecost", marking the beginning of the
Church Age, divided into two periods: Pre-cannon
(Pentecost to 96 AD, when the written canon of scripture
was completed), and Post-canon (96 AD to present time).

The Church Age is preceded by the short period during

the Age of Israel called the "Hypostatic Union" when
our Lord Jesus Christ takes the form of true humanity
for approximately 33 years (4 BC - 30 AD).

The insertion of the Church Age interrupts the Age of Israel, which then continues at the end of the Church Age, marked by the
event called the "Rapture" (When our Lord calls the Church home, removing it from the earth).

The Rapture also resumes, and consumates, the Age of Israel through the 7-year period called the "Tribulation".

This 7-year period of tribulation is ended by the event called the 2nd Advent (of our Lord Jesus Christ), marking the beginning of
the new age, called the "Millennium", which is the 1000-year reign of Christ, a period marked by perfect environment, beginning only
with believers, and ending with both believers AND unbelievers.
