Pacheco. I’ve gotten to know Mariela quite well over the past years. She has shown herself
to be a determined and capable young woman.

Mariela has a unique ability to pursue a task in a determined fashion until it has been
achieved. She consistently shows unique insight into student-centered learning and she
pushes herself to address multiple learning styles. It is evident that Mariela frequently
pushes herself to step outside of her own personal comfort zone in order to reach her
students in meaningful ways.

Mariela is a very intelligent young lady who balances a busy schedule with her devotion to
her family successfully with positivity and focus. I have been honored to know Mariela in
both an instructional and an observatory capacity. In an instructional setting, I have seen
how insightful her responses are. She has insights into word choices and unique ideas on
planning that truly set her apart.

She will make a valued addition to any team or program without a doubt. I look forward to
