ENGAGEMENT OF CONTRACT MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS & STAFF NURSE ON FULL-TIME

BASIS FOR 03 MONTHS INTERVIEW THROUGH WHATSAPP CONFERENCE CALL.
NOTIFICATION NO : BSL/P/GAZ& Non GAZ/CMP/SN OF 2020. Date: 01.04.2020.
An interview through WhatsApp conference recorded call will be held from Open
Market and from Retired Doctors & Staff Nurse of Railways , State & Central Government
for selection to the post of CMP Dr.GDMOs& Staff Nurse at Bhusawal division of Central
Railway for the Doctors & Staff Nurse who fulfill the eligibility criteria specified below for
a period of 03 months..

For CMP from Open Market : The engagement will be offered purely on contract basis
for a period of Three months or till further orders whichever is earlier.

For Contract Medical Practitioners from Retired Doctors & Staff Nurse of Railways, State
& Central Government : The engagement will be offered purely on contract basis for a
period of 03 months or till further orders whichever is earlier.

(A) Doctors (MBBS) Vacancies : Total vacancies notified are 22 which will be filled
from Open Market and from Retired Doctors of Railways, State & Central
Government.
(B) Staff Nurse Vacancies: Total Vacancies notified are 56 as under:-

a) Since the posts are over and above the sanctioned cadre due to the
exigencies on temporary measure, no prescribed community distribution
(SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc) is applicable. However age relaxation will be
given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD etc category as per
extent rules. Age will be reckoned as on the date of notification.
b) The vacancy is provisional and may increase or decrease as per
administrative necessity. There may be ‘wait-listed/stand-by’ candidates
against the notified panel/select list who may be engaged as per
necessity.
Note :
01. Number of posts and locations are subject to change. Offer will be on the basis of
vacancies available at the time of engagement.
02. Posts indicated herein may be kept unfilled at the discretion of administration.
03. Contract can be terminated by the Railway at any time during the contract period
by giving 15 days notice without assigning any reason as per the terms and
conditions laid down vide Railway Board’s letter No. 96/E(GR)II/9/16 dated
23.02.2000 and No. 2008/E(GR)II/1/1 dated 16.07.2012, 28.03.2020 & 31.03.2020
04. CMPs Doctors & Staff Nurse who enter into contract with the Railways will not have
any claim or right for his/her continuity in service or automatic extension of the term
of contract. Services rendered as full-time contract Doctors & Staff Nurse will not
have any bearing in respect of considering of their period in regular selection
through UPSC, RRB nor will it confer any right for regularization or absorption.

05. Eligible SC/ST/OBC candidates may apply along with necessary caste certificate.
Age relaxation as per extent rules will be allowed to them.

(C) Remuneration:

(a) For Open Market Candidates:

Monthly fee
(i) CMP (Full time) Doctor Rs. 75,000/- per month.
(ii) Staff Nurse Rs.44900+DA+HRA
as per Rly Bd’s Letter Dtd.12.03.2018
The remuneration specified above includes the following amount as HRA in case
of full-time contract doctors.
CMP : Rs.5250/-
If Railway accommodation is provided, HRA and licence fee of the
accommodation so provided will be deducted from the monthly fee admissible to the
concerned Medical Practitioners.
(b) For Retired Doctors & Staff Nurse of Railways, State & Central Government :
Retired Doctors of Railways, : Rs.46000/- per month (remuneration +
State & Central Government pension drawn by retired Doctors of
engaged as CMP Railways, State & Central Govt. should not
exceed the last pay drawn).
Retired Staff Nurse of Railways, Per month (remuneration + pension
State & Central Government drawn by retired Staff Nurse of Railways,
engaged (Contract Staff Nurse) State & Central Govt. should not exceed
the last pay drawn). (i.e. Basic+DA)
The Retired Doctors & Staff Nurse of Railways, State & Central Government
engaged as CMPs will be provided with Railway accommodation at places where ear-
marked Railway accommodation for Railway Doctors is vacant/ available after
meeting the residential requirement of the serving Railway officers. In case Railway
accommodation is provided to the Contract Medical Practitioner (Retired Doctors of
Railways, State & Central Government) an amount equivalent to HRA payable to a
fresh entrant to Group ‘A’ Jr. Scale and licence fee of the Railway accommodation so
provided shall be deducted from the monthly remuneration payable to the Contract
Medical Practitioner.

(D) Age:
(i) For Open Market- : Not exceeding 50 years as on 01.04.2020
CMP Relaxation for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen: 5 years
and for OBC: 3 Years.
(ii) For Retired Doctors of : Not exceeding 65 years as on 01.04.2020.

(E) Educational/Professional Qualifications for CMP:

1. Degree in Medicine i.e., MBBS (recognized by the Medical Council of India,
included in the first or second schedule or part eleven, of the third schedule
(other than the Licentiate qualifications to the Indian Medical Council Act,
1956). Holders of educational qualifications in part II of the third schedule
should also fulfill the condition stipulated in Section 13(3) of the Indian
Medical Council Act, 1956.
2. Candidates should have satisfactorily completed the compulsory Rotatory Internship.

(F) Doctors serving under State/Central Govt./Public Sector undertaking etc, may
apply with ‘NOC’ from the date respective organizations.

(G) Doctors while applying should indicate past service rendered, if any, including the
period of contract put in by them on all over Indian Railways.
4. For Staff Nurse Qualifications:-
Certificate as registered Nurse and Midwife having passed 3 yrs. Course in
General Nursing & Midwifery from a School of Nursing or other institutions
recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or B.Sc (Nursing).

(H) Those fulfilling the above conditions may apply through E-mail on id

This is purely a temporary measure, and after expiry of three months, the status quo
ante will be restored with regard to total strength and delegations of power unless
extended by further orders.
