Operation & Maintenance of Trans-loading Vehicle
2.3.1 Function
It is used to install and carry the upper part as S-T-L canisters,
pneumatic canister-locking assembly and vehicle canopy.
2.3.2 Composition
The undercarriage mainly consists of supporting steel rack,
pneumatic canister-locking assembly, tool box, walking plank, etc.
The figuration of undercarriage is shown as Fig. 2.

superior;
m. No. 1 hoisting operator drives the trans-loading vehicle to leave
the site, both Captain and No. 2 hoisting operator leaves together.
3.3.2 Hoist S-T-L canisters onto launching vehicle
a. No. 1 hoisting operator drives the trans-loading vehicle and keeps
distance with the edge of launching vehicle 300mm~800mm. Captain
commands vehicle reversing, No. 2 hoisting operator observes reversing
situation till trans-loading vehicle achieves proper condition (the road surface
is required basically smooth and hard);
b. All 3 persons remove the vehicle canopy;
c. No. 1 hoisting operator checks chassis condition, Captain & No.
2 hoisting operator checks equipment condition;
d. No. 1 hoisting operator drills earthing rod and No. 2 hoisting
operator connects earthing wire; all 3 persons release static electricity;
e. No. 1 hoisting operator switches on the force-taker, Captain
switches on power supply & wired controller, operates the supporting legs of
vehicular crane extending to maximum condition, and then controls crane to
hoisting condition. Both No. 1 & No. 2 hoisting operator releases fixing
device of hoisting tools, and re-fixes it with crane;
f. The operators of launching vehicle to unlock the launching
platform of launching vehicle, Captain hoists the hoisting tools at the mass
center of S-T-L canisters on the trans-loading vehicle, and then makes the
canisters be unlocking position. No. 2 hoisting operator fixes the hoisting
tools on canisters, No. 1 hoisting operator and launching vehicle operators
support the two ends of canisters;
g. Captain operates the vehicular crane for canister-hoisting;
h. Captain operates the vehicular crane to hoist S-T-L canisters onto
the launching vehicle, after Captain hoists canisters into the launching
platform, launching vehicle operators assist for carrying out canister-locking

footplate, keep for 20min, the pressure loss is not more than 0.1MPa.
4.1.8 Check the start and running of trans-loading vehicle
The driver drives trans-loading vehicle and carries out inspection
for start and running. The following requirements should be satisfied: trans-
loading vehicle is smoothly started, running operation is stable, clutch is
thoroughly separated, gear-shifting of gearbox is reliable, braking is mild &
timely, engine rev is smoothly transformed, integration of axle’s & wheel’s
differential lock is safe & reliable, integration of gearbox’s & transfer case’s
force-taking mouth is also safe & reliable.
4.1.9 Check the assistant brake of chassis
While the engine is under idling condition, set the gearbox to
non-“N” gear. Switch on the hydraulic bumper, it is required to be effective
and reliable. Switch on the exhaust braking switch which is under the
instrument panel inside cab, the exhaust braking of engine is required to be
effective and reliable.
4.1.10 Check the oil & air pipelines of chassis
Check the fuel pipeline, high-pressure oil pipeline, oil pipeline of
hydraulic steering directional controller, oil pipeline of hydraulic steering
clutch, oil pipeline of hydraulic torque converter of chassis, all pipelines are
required to be without any oil-leakage. Check the braking pipeline and gas
bottle interface of chassis, they are required to be without any air-leakage and
damage.

Operation & Maintenance of Trans-loading Vehicle
The correct maintenance & keeping can not only ensure trans-
loading vehicle in good condition, but also prolong its service life. Therefore,
the trans-loading vehicle element should establish practical & feasible
responsibility system, and seriously execute “3-frequents” (frequent wiping,
frequent maintenance, frequent inspection); “4-nos” (no loss, no damage, no
rust, no mildew), this can ensure trans-loading vehicle in good condition at
anytime.
The purpose of maintenance for trans-loading vehicle is to prevent
related parts from rusting, reduce the abrasion. The rust results in effect for
metal by air, water, sweat or combustion gas-flow, frequent wiping and
lubricating can isolate the metal surface from air, water & sweat, prevent from
rusting. The abrasion results in mutual friction among parts during motion
process, this is the unavoidable phenomenon. But the abrasion can be reduced
by properly lubricating on the friction surface of parts and keep them clean.

manufacturer in time while the problem can not be solved, change the
component or return to its manufacturer for maintenance. While there is
leakage for end face of joint, knock down the joint for inspection, and then
reinstall & screw down the joint by spanner as there is no abnormal situation
any more. While there is leakage for other joints, screw down it by spanner. If
the leakage continues, change the pipeline or joint. Check if the bolt of plug
for electromagnetic valve is loose or not, if it is loose, uniformly screw down
the bolt as per the diagonal line;
c. Check if there is any abnormal phenomenon for welding seams of
locking device and carrying platform;
d. Check and screw down the thread connection fastener;
e. Check if there is any abnormal phenomenon for motion of
locking device and fixing device for hoisting tools;
f. Check the working situation of electric system;
g. Carry out lubrication on the motion surface of parts;
h. Check if the height of liquid level inside oil tank is located in the
visible window of level meter, it should be not lower than 2/3 of display
height of level meter. The oil filter is needed to add the No. 32 anti-abrasion
hydraulic oil into oil tank if the height of liquid level is too low, the filtering
accuracy of oil filter is 5μm.

containers;
b. Clear away the dirt of grease coupler before lubrication, also
wipe off the overflowed grease after lubrication;
c. Wipe off the old grease while adding the new one;
d. If there is sandstorm, rain and snow, carry out wiping for trans-
loading vehicle in time, supplement the grease as per needs;
e. The oil-drain-plug of oil tank must be tweaked down while
replacing the hydraulic oil, store all the old oil inside clean containers, and
then drain the remained oil of other parts of hydraulic system, finally add the
new oil into oil tank;
f. Carry out lubrication for the surface of moveable positions, thread
connection and friction positions.
