Echo GPS Tracker Model A/B B - has engine immobilizer Instruction Manual ‘Thank you for purchasing the tracker. This manual shows how to operate the device smoothly and correctly. Make sure to read this manual carefully before using this product. Please note that specification and information are subject to changes without prior notice in this manual. Any change will be integrated in the latest release.Installation of Echo GPS Tracker NOTE: device front side towards the sky. When installing in car, if the windscreen glued by metal thermal insulation layer or heating layer, it will reduce the GPS receiver signal. Under rear windshield NOTE: device front side towards the sky_| 5. Power Wires connection 1, Red wire connects to vehicle power 2. Black wire connects to vehicle ground 3. Yellow wire connects to relay] 4. Green wire connects to ACC wireNotice: Please insert SIM card before turning the device power switch to on. The device power switch is located inside the SIM cover Please make sure SIM card has SMS load balance (if using our web tracking platform then no need for SMS load balance) 1. Device light description Light Signal Red light Power Yellow light GSM signal Blue GPS signal Note: the three lights must be stable lighting represents device can work normally. Device will turn into sleep mode with lights off after around 5 minutes, it will wake up if make a call to device number, @Device light 1) No yellow light: failed to read SIM card, need reinstall SIM card. 2.) Blue light flash: no GPS signal, make sure device/vehicle outside and not in a covered area. 3 ) Three lights off: lights entered sleep mode, make a call can wake up. Device failed located 1) Failed located: message replied with all 0, make sure device started outside not in room. 2) Can't dial the GPS Tracker: make sure SIM card has balance and installed properly.2. Device Settings The settings below are NOT necessary if you are using our web tracking platform 2.1 Initialization Send SMS “#begin#123456#” to the tracker, it will reply “begin ok” and initialize all the settings. (Default password:123456). Remark: initialization is resetting all the parameters to factory defaults. For example, send SMS “#begin#123456# ”, If succeeded, it will reply ** begin ok”. 2.2 Authorization 2.2.1 Set authorization: send SMS “’ #admin#passwordicell phone number#“* to set up authorized number, device will reply “admin ok”. 2.2.2 Delete authorization send © SMS“* #noadmin#password#authorized number#’“to delete the authorized number, device will reply “no admin ok”. 3. Get Location There are 2 ways to get the location of your vehicle (if not using our web platform): A) Call from your mobile the number of the SIM inside the GPS Tracker, the tracker will hang up and reply with SMS location message B) SMS - send SMS“¥smslink#123456#”, tracker will reply with SMS location message “Tracking location, when GPS signals is weak, you will receive the last location when GPS is available. If it is different with its exact current location, pay attention to check the time included in the SMS.3.1 Ignition Notification You can be alerted when the ignition of your vehicle is tumed ON (provided the ignition wire has been connected). To tum this feature on just text the unit #ACCH#ONE. The unit will send message “ACC!!” everytime the ignition is tumed ON. To turn off this feature text the unit #ACCHOFF#. 4, Voice Surveillance The command to switch between Track and Monitor are “tracker” and “monitor” The default mode is “tracker mode” (Tracker providing location). 4.1 Send SMS “#monitor#password#” to the device, and it will reply “monitor ok!” and switch to “monitor” mode. Then use mobile phone to dial the device number, it will get though and enter voice listening function. 4.2 Send SMS “#tracker#password#” to the device, it will reply “tracker ok!” and restore to “track” mode. Please note if you have chosen to install/hide device inside the dashboard or other concealed area you will likely not be able to clearly hear the voices 5. Cut oil or circuit (optional) Send SMS “#stopoil#password#” to device, it will reply “stop oil ok”, cut oil successfully. Send SMS “#stopeleci#password#” to device, it will reply “stop electricity ok”, cut circuit successfully.6. Recover oil or cireuit Send SMS “#supplyoil#password#” to device, it will reply “supply oil ok”, recover oil successfully. Send SMS “#supplyelec#password#” to device, it will reply “supply electricity ok”, recover circuit successfully. 7. Anti-tamper feature ‘Tracker has built-in backup battery, if someone disconnects power from vehicle battery to tracker, the built-in tracker battery will start working and will send alert that power has been disconnected. The alert is “cut power alert!” Will only be sent to the authorized number setup in Section 2.2 Troubleshooting 1. If the location is not accurate please make sure the vehicle is not in covered area or in underground parking as GPS signals cannot travel through walls or covered areas. 2. Ifyou are using SMS to monitor your vehicle make sure you have enough SMS load in the SIM inside the tracker. If you are using a Globe SIM you can check your balance by dialing *143# then choose option 2 > 1 > 2.
