Weekly Report

(contents of the cases will not be a part of this

report keeping in mind the confidentiality of the
client)
Week 1

Day 1: On day one of my internship, my sir gave me a brief of my

work. He asked me what are my interests and where would I like to
go further with the degree of law. Later he made me familiar with the
filing procedures of various cases in Delhi high court.

Day 2: On day 2 I went to tis hazari court regarding hearing of a case.

A daily pep talk by my boss was compulsory which lasts from 30
minutes to an hour.

Day 3:I went to high court regarding hearing of a matter. I also went
to national commission for correcting and organizing the files over
there.

Day 4: I went to high court for hearing of a case. I came to know

about caveat that day

Day 5: I went to rohini court to attend chief of the claimant regarding

rape case

Week 2

Day 1: On day one of week 2, I was asked to get the documents

attested by notary. Also I attended a cross examination done by my
sir for an evidence on behalf of the claimant

Day 2:I went to high court for filing work purpose. Later on I was
given a bunch of files to be separated and kept in an organized
manner.

Day 3: We went to Saket court for a hearing. Later on, after reaching
office I read some files.
Day 4: I was given a file to be submitted in the arbitration center. Also
I attended a hearing regarding rent control act

Day 5: I attended arbitration which was scheduled in defence colony.

Then I went back to office and read some files.

Week 3

Day 1: my mentor asked me to take out certified copy of orders of 11

civil suits. I filled 11 forms for the same and attached court fees on
the form and submitted the same to concerned authorities.

Day 2: I was asked by my mentor to come to Saket District Court for

the hearing of a case. I had to reach Saket court by 9:30, as the
proceeding was scheduled to start at 10:30. The lawyer gave me the
basic knowledge about where the accused and the complainant stand
in front of the judge.

Day 3: I was asked to segregate each file in office and keep them in an
orderly manner. I had to create a list and number the files
respectively. I interacted with the clients and gave my opinion about
their case

Day 4: I was asked by my mentor to come to Saket District Court for

the hearing of a case regarding hindu succession act, 1956.

Day 5: I was asked to go to tees hazari court as well as saket district

court for filing purposes. At office, my mentor handed me a video of
professor giving speech against hindu religion and asked me to form
the grounds for suing him for the same.

Week 4

Day 1: I was asked to go to High court for a hearing of a case.

At office, I read some files regarding cases for next day.

Day 2: I was asked to come to high court again regarding bail and
appointment of arbitrator matters.
Day 3: I went to tis hazari court for matter in which witnesses were
to be examined.

Day 4: I went to High court for matter. At office, I read some files.

Day 5: I was asked to come to dwarka court for a hearing. There were
two matters on dwarka court then I left for tis hazari court for
another hearing. At office, I was asked to summarize what I had
learnt from this internship and write a report about the same.
