ACTIVITY 2

This pandemic covid – 19 can be correlated to the rights and responsibilities that are
inside the 7 social justice themes and teachings. It is said that, the Catholic convention
encourages that human respect can be secured and a sound network can be
accomplished just if human rights are ensured and obligations are met. In this manner,
each individual has a central right to life and a privilege to those things required for
human conventionality. Relating to these rights are obligations and duties to each other,
to our families, and to the bigger society.

The major role of the church is that they need to make sure that everyone inside the
community is still spiritually involved on the church matters even though this pandemic
is still happening. Keeping everyone’s faith is not the church’s responsibility but it’s
inside of us, their major role is just to remind us that even though there are challenges
that we are facing, there are still Someone up there, bigger than everything that is
happening to us right now and through Him we will overcome this challenges.

The government also has a big role to play in keeping the community intact and
functioning. Their major role is to keep everyone safe, make sure that everyone is fed
because not everyone is well off enough to afford enough food to feed their families.
The government also needs to make sure that everyone is being treated well and there
should be no any sign of violence in the community or it might result into a resistance to
them and fear.

As of now, their major roles are slowly being accomplished but it needs to be faster
especially in the part of the government because a lot of people are starving and not
everyone is well off. If the government played their role in the current situation, there is
no doubt that we would beat this problem in no time.
